You'll sign in with Apple once, during setup — there's no separate RoamFolio account, email, or password, so this is what gets you an identity in the app at all. Beyond that one-time step, everything it unlocks is entirely optional to actually use, and your stamps back up privately to your own iCloud account either way.

Signing in unlocks RoamFolio's social side, RoamPost:

• Connecting with friends by code, QR scan, or opt-in contact matching
• Sending and receiving postcards, with delivery tracked by your in-app mailman
• Letting friends see the badges and status you've shared, and seeing theirs
• Earning coins for milestones like your first stamp or first postcard, which you can spend on a faster courier or extra passport pages

Changed your mind later? You can sign out anytime from Account — your already-collected stamps keep working either way.

1. Open RoamPost — you'll already be signed in from setup, unless you've since signed out, in which case sign back in from Account.
2. Connect with a friend — share your code or QR, or find them through opt-in contact matching. They'll need to accept your request before you're connected.
3. Open RoamPost and choose a stamp you've already collected.
4. Pick a nearby photo to go with it — RoamFolio suggests one and frames it for you automatically, and you can add a short note.
5. Choose your friend as the recipient (or tap "Send Postcard" right from their profile) and send.

Your postman carries it from there on a flat delivery schedule — or, if you've earned some coins, send it by pony or pigeon instead to speed things up. You'll both get a notification once it's delivered.

1. Open Home — it shows which stamping stations are near you right now, live on the map.
2. Walk within range of one.
3. Tap "Stamp" right on that station's row to collect it — a haptic celebration confirms it, and you're taken straight to the passport page it just landed on.

No stations nearby? Tap "Find past trips" instead to add a stamp retroactively from an old photo — RoamFolio reads its location and date to find a match, including photos shared in from Google Photos or Files.
